If you go on the internet frequently and you use a particular site more often than any other for example, this could be a news or sports site, then you can set one or more of these sites as home pages. Creating a home page is very convenient because when you open your internet browser your home page tabs will appear automatically. This saves you the time of having to type in the website address in the address bar when you want to access the website.
To create a homepage for your favourite sites follow these steps:
Begin by launching Internet Explorer and select Tools then Internet Options.
The Internet Options window will appear on your screen. At the top will be a number of tabs. From these tabs select the one named General. In this tab you can fill in the web address of the website that you want to make as your homepage. You are not limited to one website as you can enter the address of several websites if you wish to. Each of the websites that you make as your homepage will appear in separate tabs as you launch Internet Explorer (IE).

Use current: if you already have a web page that is displayed in your browser this option can enable you to make that your homepage of choice.
Use Default: This option defaults the homepage to the MSN website.
Use Blank: If you do not want any homepage use this option.
When you have completed the home page set up click the OK button with your cursor to save the settings and changes you have made.
This step is to test your handy work out. Go back to Internet Explorer (IE) click on the Home icon with your cursor. The Home icon is very easy to identify as it is an illustration of a house.
